With the first quarter for 2024 in the books, we now move into an exciting time of year here at MTA Queensland – the opening of nominations for our Industry Awards!
Over the last 12 months, we have seen some incredible achievements from our members and, as an industry, it is important that we celebrate and highlight these successes together. Nominations are open for our five award categories – Community, Innovation, Women in Industry, and Small and Large Business Awards for Excellence – which can be easily completed online HERE with a 500-word submission. All finalists will receive two tickets to the 2024 Industry Awards Gala in November in Brisbane, which is a night of entertainment, live music, food and drink, dancing, and celebrating, not to be missed.
In partnership with the MTAA, Auto Parts Recyclers Association of Australia, and Auto PARTnered Solutions, we will be hosting the 2024 AAPRA Conference from 29 – 31 August on the Gold Coast. Featuring an impressive lineup of industry experts and influencers from around the world, this is your chance to hear about the future of the auto recyclers sector. Finally, MTA Queensland, together with Capricorn Society, will be hosting a Careers Networking Expo at the Brisbane Capricorn Trade Show on Wednesday, 22 May. Taking place directly before the show from 4:30pm – 5:30pm, this is your opportunity to connect with high-school students and jobseekers who have shown an interest in learning more about a career in the automotive industry.
