On Thursday, 22 July 2021 MTA Queensland held its fourth Carmageddon, a one-day automotive innovation symposium with attendees from senior government, academia, the innovation eco-system, automotive industry businesses and stakeholders as well as media.
Carmageddon was opened by the Hon Mick de Brenni MP, Minister for Energy, Renewables and Hydrogen & Minister for Public Works, who revealed the push the Queensland Government is making in its quest to meet a net-zero emissions target by the middle of the century – a plan in which, the Minister said, the electrification and clean energy transformation of transportation would play a leading role.
The event also featured an impressive exhibition of the latest electric cars, retro conversions, vans, bikes and the latest tech from QUT and business. Exhibitor details can be found on the back of the Program below.
