Transit Custom Models To Arrive By End of Year

Ford has revealed specifications for the Transit Custom Sport and Transit Custom Sport Double Cab models that are set to arrive in Australia later this year.

The Sport brings with it a distinctive body kit, 17-inch alloy wheels and dual racing stripes. Inside, along with sports seat trim with blue accent stripes, is a heated, 10-way power driver’s seat with lumbar adjustment and dual armrests. There’s also dual zone climate control and closeable upper glovebox with dual USB-C charging ports.
Powering the Custom models is a 4-cylinder, 2-litre TDCi diesel engine delivering 125kW and 390Nm. It is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Other Transit Custom Sport and Transit Custom Sport Double Cab exterior features (in addition to features on Trend models) include LED headlights, sport side decals, unique sports grille, soft close sliding side load doors, rear spoiler, and LED taillights. Interior features (in addition to features on Trend models) include dual driver armrests, two USB-C ports on driver side upper dash, and soft trim (cabin side) metal bulkhead with window.

Transit Custom Sport Double Cab interior features (in addition to Sport model) include dual passenger armrests, retractable tambour door, carpeted cabin floor, relocated wireless charger and rear door storage.

The Transit Custom Sport and Transit Custom Sport Double Cab are expected in Australia in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Manufacturer List Pricing (MLP) for the Transit Custom Sport starts at $59,990, with the Transit Custom Sport Double Cab priced from $62,990.
