Polestar Australia has confirmed a new rear-wheel-drive variant to the Polestar 3 model range with the introduction of the Long range Single motor model.
The Long range Single motor becomes the third variant of the Polestar 3 range and is now available to order with Australian deliveries commencing early in 2025.
Standard exterior features include a front and rear wing, active LED headlights, flush door handles, a panoramic glass roof, and 20-inch Aero wheels. Inside, like all Polestar 3 variants, this model features recycled materials, a 14.5-inch multimedia touchscreen with full smartphone integration, triple-zone climate control, and electrically adjustable and heated seats.
Polestar says the new Long range Single motor offers up to 700km of range between charges. That would be thanks, in part, to a whopping 111kWh battery pack. 250kW peak DC charging capability delivers a 30-minute 10 to 80 per cent charge.
A single motor drives the rear axle and produces 220kW and 490Nm of torque.
0 to 100 km/h is done in 7.8 seconds. A Brembo braking system delivers the stopping power, while ride comfort and control comes via a passive damper system that uses Hydraulic Rebound Stops (HRS) and Frequency Selective Damping (FSD).
The Polestar 3 Long range starts at $118,420 (excluding on-road charges).
