Nominate for the MTA Queensland Community Award
The MTA Queensland Community Award is awarded to an individual or member business who is a role model in their community and this is evidenced by their actions.
CRITERIA
- Must be a current financial member of MTA Queensland
- Must receive the highest collective points determined from a panel assessment of the online nomination submission
- Activities that could support nominations include:
- charitable work or initiatives
- volunteering for worthy causes
- supporting people with disabilities and special needs
- fundraising for worthy causes
- supporting minority or disadvantaged groups
- community support initiatives
- employees given unique incentives or rewards
- promotion of healthy work-life balance
- enacting socially responsible practices
- financial / sponsorship or in-kind contributions for worthy causes
- programs that benefit the environment such as recycling
- work that ‘gives back’ to the community
- employment initiatives for locals
- pro bono work
