LDV Expands EV Range With eDeliver 7

LDV has added to its all-electric range of vehicles with the eDeliver 7, a mid-size van aimed at sole traders, SMEs, transport companies and corporate fleets. It is LDV’s fourth electric vehicle, alongside the eDeliver 9 large van, the eT60 ute, and the MIFA 9 people mover.

Four electric variants make up the eDeliver 7 range: a short wheelbase low roof model; a long wheelbase low roof model  available with either 77kWh or 88kWh batteries; and a long wheelbase high roof available with an 88kWh battery. All are available to order in white, blue or black.

LDV says the standard 77kWh battery has a pure electric range of up to 318kms on the SWB low roof model and will take approximately 8hrs to charge on an 11kW AC home charger (5-100 per cent), or approximately 43mins to charge from 20-80 per cent on a rapid DC charger.

The 88kWh battery offers a range of up to 362kms on the low roof model and will take approximately 9.3hrs to charge on an 11kW AC home charger (5-100 per cent), or approximately 43mins via a rapid DC charger (20-80 per cent). The battery powers an 150kW/330Nm electric motor that drives the front wheels.

The eDeliver 7 also comes with three power modes – Normal, Eco and Power. Eco mode can be selected to limit maximum speed to 90km/h and minimise power consumption when needed.

Standard safety and driver assistance features are comprehensive and include Autonomous Emergency Braking; Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go; Speed Limit Sign Identification; Front Collision Warning; Emergency Lane Keep Assist and Lane Change Assist; Blind Spot Monitoring; Front & Rear Parking Sensors; and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Inside, the cabin of the eDeliver 7 offers features including heated steering wheel, fully adjustable driver’s seat, keyless

entry-keyless start, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with Apple Car Play and Android Auto.

Practical improvements include 90°/180° rear doors that can be fixed in place while the vehicle is on an incline to prevent them from being blown shut and, as with all LDV vans, eDeliver 7 comes standard with non-slip rubber flooring.

Cargo volume across the eDeliver 7 models ranges from 5.9 cubic metres in the short wheelbase low roof, to 6.7 cubic metres in the long-wheelbase low roof model and 8.7 cubic metres in the long wheelbase high roof variant. Each comes with six tie-down points in the cargo area, single sliding door on the passenger side, and LED rear cargo lighting. Braked towing capacity is 1,500kg.

With the appropriate ABN, the 77kWh SWB low roof model starts at $59,990 rising to $61,990 for the LWB variant, both excluding on-road costs. The 88kWh LWB low roof variant is $64,990 excluding on-roads for ABN holders, rising to $66,990 excluding on-roads for the LWB high roof for ABN holders.

Every new LDV eDeliver 7 comes with 5yrs/160,000km (whichever comes first) new car warranty, 8-year/250,000km (whichever comes first) battery warranty and 5-year/unlimited kilometres Roadside Assistance. A Capped Price Servicing program covers scheduled servicing for 6 years/90,000km (whichever comes first).
