Goodyear Unveils Sustainable-Material Tyre

As a step on its path to introduce a 100 per cent sustainable-material tyre by 2030, Goodyear has unveiled an ElectricDrive Sustainable-Material (EDS) Tyre at November’s 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE).

Goodyear says the EDS tyre is engineered specifically for EVs, and is made with recycled and bio-based materials, including carbon black sourced from end-of-life tyres and recycled polyester. Available in China from this month, Goodyear say the tyre will be available in other Asia Pacific markets from the first quarter of 2025.
