After the arrival in recent weeks of the Tremor variant of Ford’s big-selling Ranger ute, the company’s Everest SUV is now getting the same upgrade treatment.
The Tremor upgrades will, Ford says, make the Everest even more capable off-road while keeping its on-road performance.
Powered by the 3-litre V6 turbo diesel delivering 184kW and 600Nm, the Everest Tremor gets Enhanced Suspension and Tyres including Bilstein Position-Sensitive Dampers, new springs, and General Grabber AT3 All-Terrain Tyres providing 26mm of additional ground clearance compared to the standard Everest. Also here is Rock Crawl Drive Mode which is designed to optimise traction and momentum on loose and rocky surfaces.
Design tweaks and extra features include a honeycomb grille design with auxiliary LED lamps, a steel bash plate, heavy-duty side steps, and signature Tremor badging. The interior carries Tremor-embossed leather accented seats, ebony-coloured interior accents, and all-weather floor mats.
The Everest Tremor has a manufacturer’s list price of $76,590 (incl. GST). Customers can further personalise their Tremor with a range of factory-fit options, including the Rough Terrain Pack featuring ARB accessories, a Touring Pack, a Premium Seat Pack, and a Towing Pack. It will be available in the exclusive Command Grey exterior colour.
Production of the Everest Tremor is expected to commence in November.
